1999 jeep Wrangler Heater blower is not working Changed switch
1999 Jeep wrangler sport. 4.0 I have changed the heater/AC blower switch 3 times this year also I have changed the resistor twice and now again the medium speed on the switch won't work. The low, low read more5/5(623)you replaced the switch and resistor?does the blower work on high still but not the lower speeds?The switch was not bad the resistor was the cause of the blower speeds being inop on all but high. what fuses did you check inside and under the hood?there is a fuse in the box under the hood # XXXXX fuse 40 amp that is the blower relay fuse can you check that fuse?ok the blower relay also in the box under the hood is the last thing it could be unless there is a broken wire sorry the blower relay is in the das..if you have 12v at the blower motor then i would have to say the resistor you installed is bad. you run the blower with the resistor out of th..the blower speeds are selected through ground resistance if you have 12v at the blower motor then all that is left is the resistor or the switch yo..let me know what you find when you recheck the wiring at the switchThe resistor is the most common part to fail when you loose blower speeds
