Yellow red is the wire from the Starter solenoid to the starter switch. ASSUMING you have an early model 1975 (Serial Number of the frame would help here), that goes to the stock starter switch that ground to activate the Starter Solenoid. Yellow goes to the headlight on/off switch (Again, assuming an early 1975 model).
