wow, never thought choosing right transmission oil would be so complicated. I was looking on Amsoil and now you got me thinking about the Mobil 5 W20 synthetic motor oil; since the miles on the car are around only 65k; but it needs fluid change for sure.

On my transmission, NO, I wouldn't change it. I have the 722.5 transmission (on my 04 C240 4Matic bought new) that is supposedly "sealed for life." I've read that Mercedes had tested these transmissions and found them to be capable of holding up well beyond 200K miles without any service.
